Full Or Part Rewires

Old or faulty wiring is the most common cause of electrical fires so it is important to ensure you wiring is safe at regular intervals.

Some people may want to undertake a full electrical rewire or upgrade the current system – particularly those moving into a new property which might be 25 years or older.

Having a full rewire will bring the electrical installation in your property up-to-date with the latest wiring regulations. It will also give you the opportunity to modernise your home with new switches, sockets and a 18th edition consumer unit containing residual current devices (RCDs).

Landlord Packages

We are highly experienced in ensuring landlords comply with statutory guidance for renting domestic properties.

We carry out installation condition reports - known as an EICR - and fire alarm installs for letting agents and private landlords to ensure their properties are safe and functional for tenants.

We offer a landlord's package including an electrical installation condition report, portable appliance testing (PAT) and smoke/heat/CO alarms with fire alarm certificate as required. Electrical wiring and portable appliances in a domestic rental property must be checked every 5 years.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Ensures the safety and reliability of your electrical equipment with our services. Here's why PAT testing is essential:

  • Safety Assurance: Identify faulty appliances to prevent electrical accidents.

  • Fire Risk Reduction: Detect potential fire hazards early, protecting your property.

  • Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and regulations.

  • Insurance Requirements: Many insurers require PAT testing to maintain coverage.
